Welcome to my blog. This is where I'm going to be blogging my journey both physically and emotionally as I complete Michelle Bridges 12WBT. I've completed rounds 1 & 2 of the 12WBT and got some great results. I'm back for round 3 for a few reasons which I'll explain in a later post. BTW I should also explain I will try and add videos up here as we go along if I can work out how to do it =P. This blog is probably going to end up a never ending story, I like to type, and some of my stories/explanations/reasons might end up quite long, so I'm sorry for that, please let me know if I bore you to death =)
Firstly my intro.
My name is Mel (obviously). I'm 22, full time student studying exercise science, looking for a job (let me know if you want a great worker). Im currently completing a 6 month work placement as part of a phd study, looking at the effect of resistance training on the body composition and self concept of overweight and obese teenage boys. I'm currently living in Adelaide but originally from the west coast of South Australia, I miss living near the beach, find the traffic of the city a little crazy but otherwise am quite happy.
I've completed rounds 1 and 2 of 12wbt and lost about 17kgs in total from Preseason round 1 to now. Overall I've now lost just over 25 kgs since January 2010. Ive got another 4kgs to go to get to a healthy weight range and then another 5 from there to get to my overall goal. So I'm looking at losing around 8-10kgs this round.
So thats me in a nutshell, now I'm going to answer the question of why I'm back to do round 3 and explain my breakdown at the round 2 training session.
